In some cases patients require skilled medical services while rehabilitating on a short-term basis due to surgery or injury.

You are invited to participate in our long-term care program when/acing a prolonged acute illness, or chronic disease. Summit Acres is multi-trained medically to manage your illness or loss of independence.

You can begin with a physician referral or contacting us. Summit Acres is a provider of many Insurance Companies, Medicare, and private payment plans. We work with your physician in order to facilitate your recovery. This program is designed to enhance the quality of life for those who qualify. Summit Acres supplements restorative therapy with certified activity therapy, recreational activities, fine cuisine in order to facilitate quality of life. Families and friends always receive a warm welcome.

Physical Therapy

Licensed specialist trained in the evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of movement and functional problems. Summit Acres Rehab treats stroke, post-surgery, orthopedic problems, sport and head injuries among others.

Occupational Therapy

Treatment focuses on accomplishing activities of daily living when an injury, accident, heart attack, arthritis, stroke, multiple sclerosis, birth defect, or other illness intel1eres with your daily life. Assessment includes a comprehensive evaluation of home and/ or work. Training for work performance and in the use of adaptive equipment. We will instruct family members and/or attendants in safe effective methods of care.

Speech Pathology

Focuses on speech, clear language, and swallowing deficits while providing appropriate therapy to promote maximum abilities in speech and swallowing.
